How to solve the supply chain issues.

I am tired of reading about the “supply chain” issues that are possibly responsible for our massive inflation.

I currently am watching CNBC and they still show videos of ships at sea that are sitting idle.

There is a lot of finger pointing going on about “who” is responsible for the problem.

Is it us as consumers for the increased demand?

Is it the governments who shut down the economy creating pent up demand?

Is it the ports for not working 24/7?

Is it a shortage of trucks and truck drivers?

I say, who cares!

Let’s not play the blame game. Stop me if I am wrong, and I could be, but aren’t all of the ships sitting at sea carrying foreign cargo?

Wouldn’t the supply chain issue be solved if we “bought American”?

I don’t think the containers lost at sea are from manufactures in America using ships to move their goods from coast to coast. So, wouldn’t it make sense if we as consumers “bought American”?

Wouldn’t that help ease the “supply chain” (ie foreign goods sitting out at sea)?

Wouldn’t that make more sense?

Or is “buy American” politically incorrect in today’s society?

Those are just my thoughts. I could be wrong.

Stay confident my friends!
