Model Allocation Changes: 09/01/2023

KEVIN’S COMMENTS:

What a difference one month makes!

The markets were on fire in July and we’re the inverse in August.

In fact only 5 out of the 60 categories that we follow were positive in August.

This means that the Future Contributions purchased more shares in a falling market, but the overall balances in most participant’s accounts are lower.

To view all of the categories, sorted by their 4 week return, CLICK HERE.

This made it easy to purchase shares “on sale” as most everything was falling.

Except for US Equity Energy which kept it’s spot as the best performing Asset Class two months in a row.

The FUTURE CONTRIBUTION advice is changing today at 9am EST for any of your clients that have them turned on.

There are not any changes for the STRATEGIC or TACTICAL models today.

However, we are watching the TACTICAL models closely as there may be a change in the near future.

I will let you know if/when those change.

FUTURE CONTRIBUTIONS:

Equity Energy

Large Growth

High Yield Bond
