Dishwashers & Financial Advice!

Every time I look at my full dishwasher, I am grateful!

I am grateful because I grew up in Chicago in a lower-middle class, “blue collar” hard-working household. Our adoption of new “technology” was slow due to limited funds. We were one of the last families (in my mind) to purchase a microwave oven. (Which ironically, as an adult, I purposely don’t own a microwave).

For the first 13 years of my life, we did not have a dishwasher. It wasn’t until we moved to the suburbs, in a new townhouse, did we own one. That means young Kevin had to hand wash a lot of dishes. Every night!

And then I had access to a dishwasher when I was 13. This was amazing for young Kevin!

It was no longer an hour long chore to clean up after dinner. Now, the dishes just had to be rinsed and loaded into the dishwasher. What was a manual and time-consuming chore was now less manual and a lot less time-consuming.

The dishwasher just needed to be loaded, ran and unloaded. This saved a lot of time, energy and effort as this new “technology” did most of the work.

So, you may be thinking, why would the CEO of a fintech SaaS company be writing about how much they love their dishwasher?

Valid point!

My dishwasher got me thinking about our software we created for 401k & 403b investors. Our software does all of the manual and time consuming chores that you would need to do to figure out how to properly invest your money in your plan.

Our software can do in seconds what would take you or your adviser hours. Literally!

So, much like the dishwasher did for “young Kevin” our software can do for you!

Don’t waste time doing manual, time-consuming chores when technology can do it for you faster, better and cheaper (and compliantly)! We can research your investment options, map those options to a diversified asset allocation model and deliver you exact advice on how to manage your plan.

You can even “customize” the advice with our software. It’s not “one size fits all”!

So, when I look at the dishwasher, I am grateful.

When I look at the software that we have created, I am excited as I am hoping that someday, someone may write a blog just like this about how we saved them time, effort and energy!

Stay safe and healthy my friends!
